Northrop Grumman supports STEM Education in our community - including learning in science, technology, engineering and math that happens at home! In 2020, they helped our YMCA STEM Education Program provide over 2,200 take-home STEM kits while our families learned virtually. The YMCA also provided STEM Education to more than 1,000 children in our programs with school partners and in our Y branches, thanks to assistance from Northrop Grumman.
In 2021, Heart of the Valley YMCA has continued offering take-home STEM kits while expanding our in-person programming safely to nine sites across North Alabama.
