Developing Young People Through STEM
The Y is helping all children reach their full potential by supporting their unique youth development journeys. Our Education and STEM programs offer an early introduction to a wide variety of concepts and teach science, technology, engineering, math, and more through creative play, setting a foundation for being successful in school and in life.
Kids who participate in STEM activities:
- Learn how to solve problems
- Develop critical-thinking skills
- Become comfortable with failure and trying again
- Learn to work successfully in teams
- Develop self-confidence
- Are able to see themselves in STEM careers
Join us at the Southeast Family YMCA in Huntsville for a FREE STEM program for neurodivergent learners.
When: Every 3rd Saturday of each month
Time: 3-4 p.m.
Where: Southeast Family YMCA: 1000 Weatherly Rd, Huntsville, AL 35803
