YMCA Launches Inaugural Corporate Cup: An Olympic-Style Wellness Challenge for Local Businesses
Huntsville, AL – January 23, 2025 – The Heart of the Valley YMCA is thrilled to announce its inaugural YMCA Corporate Cup, a corporate wellness challenge designed to bring local businesses and companies together for a unique Olympic-style competition. Taking place from March 22 through May 10, 2025, this innovative event promotes healthier lifestyles, builds camaraderie, and fosters connections among businesses across Madison County and the surrounding areas.
“This is more than just a competition—it’s a unique opportunity for corporations to foster teamwork, boost employee well-being, strengthen relationships within your company and network with other companies participating,” said Jeff Collen, Interim CEO at the Heart of the Valley YMCA. “Funds raised through the YMCA Corporate Cup directly support vital YMCA programs and services, helping to create a healthier, more connected community. The Corporate Cup offers participants a chance to compete in a variety of fun and engaging activities, including pickleball, cornhole, basketball, flag football, and more. Teams will have the chance to bond with colleagues while connecting with peers from other organizations, all while enhancing their physical and mental well-being.
