CPR/First Aid & Water Safety Training Programs
Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid Training Course
This course teaches you basic CPR techniques, AED usage, barrier device skills and emergency choking measures for adult, child and the infant victim. The curriculum includes CPR for adult, child and infant, relief of a Foreign Body Airway Obstruction in both responsive and unresponsive victims, bag-mask ventilation, and how to use an AED.
Foster Parent Water Safety Course
Foster parent in Alabama? This Water Safety course at the Southeast Family YMCA meets the state’s water safety requirements and teaches essential skills to help you feel confident as a “water watcher” for the children in your care. You’ll learn boating, beach, and pool safety—so you can help keep kids safe around water, wherever you are.
