Youth Sports Camps

At the Y, sports camps are designed to provide children of all ability levels the opportunity to improve their skills and learn new ones. We offer a variety of sports camps during the summer for boys and girls ages 7-16. With a focus on teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth, our youth sports camps not only enhance physical fitness and fundamentals, but also foster valuable life skills such as resilience, leadership, and communication.

    Youth Sports Conditioning

    This 4-week program is designed for youth to safely improve cardio and strength conditioning and promotes exercise as a part of healthy living. Total body workouts aim to improve overall fitness while trainers promote safe and effective lifting techniques. This camp is led in a group for children ages 7-16 and is available for Y members as well as non-members. Summer sessions are available in June and July on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:45-5:45 pm at the Southeast Family YMCA.

    Cheer Camp

    Cheerleading is one of the most popular sports among young girls and boys because it gives them a chance to get out and be active. If you are interested in helping your kids develop and grow over the summer, the YMCA summer cheer camp could be just what your are looking for. Cheer camp is for children ages 7-13 and is available for Y members as well as nonmembers. Cheer camp is held during the summer at the Southeast Family YMCA. Special pricing for children who are also attending traditional day camp at the Southeast Family YMCA during the same week.

    Dance Camp

    Leap into the world of rhythm, movement, and self-expression at Dance Camp! Dance camp is a great opportunity for young dancers to dive into various dance styles, learn new techniques, and develop their passion. Led by experienced instructors with a passion for nurturing talent and fostering a love for dance, this camp promises an unforgettable experience each dancer. Dance camp is for children ages 8 and older and is available for Y members as well as nonmembers. Dance camp is held during the summer at the Southeast Family YMCA. Special pricing for children who are also attending traditional day camp at the Southeast Family YMCA during the same week.
