Each spring, Two Men and a Truck holds a drive called Movers for Moms to collect essential care items for women in shelters on Mother’s Day. We are happy to share that we have boxes to collect items for their donation drive at our Southeast, Hogan and Downtown YMCA locations. The boxes will be in our branches until May 3. Donations will go to the Downtown Rescue Mission to make life a little gentler for moms in need. Let’s fill them to the top!
Donations that are needed are: toiletries & hygiene products, clothing for moms & babies, toothbrushes, laundry & liquid dish soap, bath tissue, pillows, hair brushes & combs, general purpose cleaners, and non-perishable food items.
