Eat a Sub and Support the YMCA in March at Jersey Mike’s

For the fourth year, Heart of the Valley YMCA is joining forces with Jersey Mike's Subs restaurants in Huntsville and Madison for the 13th Annual March Month of Giving campaign that funds local charities. During the month of March, customers can make a donation of $1, $3, or $5 to support the Heart of the Valley YMCA at Jersey Mike's restaurants when they purchase a delicious sub sandwich meal. The campaign will culminate in Jersey Mike's Day of Giving on Wednesday, March 29, when Huntsville and Madison Jersey Mike's restaurants will donate 100 percent of sales made that day - not just their profits - to supporting swim lessons and other youth programs provided by the YMCA.

"Since its inception in 2011, Jersey Mike's Month of Giving has raised more than $67 million for charities making a big difference in their local communities," said Peter Cancro, Jersey Mike's founder and CEO.

The Heart of the Valley YMCA is a 501(c)(3) community organization with the charitable mission to provide programs and membership to all regardless of their ability to pay a full fee. In 2022, the Y served 37,026 adults and children and reinvested more than $2,212,374 into the community by providing free and reduced cost programs and membership to under-resourced children, families and individuals. The YMCA is committed to nurturing the potential of every child and teen and fostering a supportive and dynamic environment for kids to learn and develop.
