Honoring Our Military Veterans

AKIMA proudly presents the 20th Annual Heart of the Valley YMCA Veterans Prayer Breakfast. For two decades, this cherished community tradition has brought together more than 300 veterans, active military members, and community leaders for a meaningful morning of reflection, gratitude, honor, and fellowship.

Guests will enjoy breakfast, an inspiring keynote address, a special award presentation, and moving moments of music and prayer as we recognize the service and sacrifice of those who have served our nation. All Veterans and Active Military are invited to request complimentary tickets to attend this special celebration by emailing events@ymcahuntsville.org.

Proceeds from the event help provide financial assistance for veterans, active-duty military personnel, and their families, ensuring they have access to YMCA memberships, life-changing programs, wellness opportunities, and a supportive community. In 2025, Heart of the Valley YMCA provided more than $90,000 in membership fees to local military families.
