Adults in the retirement or near-retirement stage of life are among the Y’s greatest assets! Ask at your branch’s Courtesy Counter about opportunities to volunteer and make your Y a better place for your peers, for young families and for children.

Some of our volunteer opportunities include:

  • Greet members and answer inquiries
  • Answer the phones
  • Lead a walking club
  • Maintain flower beds outside your branch
  • Tell stories at day camp
  • Make the coffee!
